ISNP School

Welcome to the ISNP School.

Dear colleagues,

we are proud to present the programme 2010 of the International School of NeuroPelveology - ISNP.

Neuropelveology is a new field of medicine which focuses on the preservation of the pelvic nerves during laparoscopic radical pelvic surgery as well as on laparoscopic neurosurgical procedures to the pelvic nerves for treatment of pelvic neuralgies and neurogenic troubles or loss of pelvic visceral and skeletal functions.

The ISNP teaching programme consists of two different options, the Postgraduate Teaching Programme and the Continuing Medical Education Programme.

The Postgraduate Teaching Programme is subdivided into a course to acquire the theoretical knowledge required for the second step, a fellowship of several months in our department. This programme is concluded by a theoretical, clinical and surgical examination with certification – the "Possover® Neuropelveology Fellowship". This programme is aimed at physicians in Europe and overseas. Courses will take place in various countries all over the world in collaboration with local universities and educational organisations.

The fellowship will take place in Zürich only at the department of Prof Possover. The Continuing Medical Education Programme is  subdivided in local symposiums in Zürich and in a “WebEx ISNP Training Center” for international teleconferences, case demonstration, case study, interdisciplinary Boards via internet. This programme became more than indispensable, since the neuropelveology is destinated for a growing number of patients over the world suffering from various pathologies not covered by other disciplines.

Sincerely,
Marc Possover, MD, PhD
President of the ISNP
